  • Module Customization: Creating custom fields (Lookups, Picklists, Formulas); designing multiple “Layouts” for different business units (e.g., Sales vs. Renewals).
  • Data Integrity: Setting up validation rules to prevent “dirty data”; mastering the “Import Wizard” and “De-duplication” tools.
Level 2: Advanced
The Process Enforcer
  • Workflow Automation: Building complex workflow rules with “Immediate” and “Scheduled” actions; managing “Assignment Rules” for fair lead distribution.
  • Blueprint Mastery: Designing end-to-end sales processes that mandate field updates and document uploads at specific deal stages; setting up “Transitions” and “Common Transitions”.
  • Advanced UI/UX: Configuring “Canvas” views to simplify the interface for sales reps; setting up “Wizards” to guide users through complex data entry.
Level 3: Professional
The Strategic Admin
  • Sandbox & Deployment: Managing a “Sandbox” environment for testing new automations before pushing them to the live production org.
  • Advanced Governance: Auditing “Audit Logs” to track every system change; managing global data encryption and GDPR/Regional data privacy settings.
  • Cross-App Admin: Managing CRM “Signals” from other Zoho apps (Books, Desk, Projects) to provide a 360-degree admin view of the customer.
